Operation Round Up Supports Our Communities

Grants were awarded to the following nonprofit organizations: 

Baptist Children’s Home (Moore) - $3,000 for Residential Wilderness Camp. 

Chatham County 4-H - $3,000 for summer enrichment camp scholarships. 

Chatham Education Foundation - $3,000 for the “Books on Break” program. 

First Tee - Sandhills (Moore) - $3,000 for junior golf and life skills programs. 

Five N Two Food Pantry (Harnett) - $3,000 for food for low income families. 

Habitat for Humanity of Sanford (Lee) - $3,000 for electrical items used in building homes for low income families.

HAVEN of Lee County - $3,000 for new shelter beds and linens.

Let’s Do It Together Foundation (Lee) - $3,000 for summer leadership camp. 

NC Mock Trials (all four counties) - $3,000 for high school mock trial competition.  

Outreach Mission, Inc. (Lee) - $3,000 for “Hand Up to Housing” program.  

Partnership for Children/Families (Moore) - $3,000 for summer reading stations. 

Pocket Volunteer Fire Department (Lee) - $3,000 for tools to assist in rescue operations and automobile accidents. 

Temple Theatre (Lee) - $3,000 for student scholarships for youth educational theatre. 

The Salvation Army of Chatham County - $3,000 for emergency assistance for low-income families. 

YMCA of the Sandhills (Harnett) - $3,000 for the Teen Mental Health program.
