Capital Credit Checks Coming Your Way!

You want to know one of the best perks of being a member of an electric cooperative like Central Electric? Money back!

That's right, for the 17th year in a row, Central Electric is returning over $1.1 million in capital credits to its members. If you had service with the co-op in 2006 or 2007, look out for your capital credit general retirement check in the mail. Retirement checks under $25 will be applied as a bill credit. Learn more about capital credits HERE.

High Energy Alert

Did you receive a High Usage text? If so, we’ve noticed a recent increase in your electricity consumption, which may be linked to the extreme temperatures we’ve been experiencing. To monitor your usage, please visit your Online Portal or use our Central EMC app.

A sudden spike in usage could indicate an issue with one of your home systems. We suggest checking your heat pump and water heater to ensure they are functioning properly. You may also want to inspect for any possible leaking pipes, which can contribute to increased energy consumption. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit from one of our Energy Advisors, please call us at 919-774-4900.
