Making a Difference

Grants were awarded to the following nonprofit organizations: 

Baptist Children's Home of NC - $1,500 to purchase appliances for their residential facilities.

Chatham CARES Community Pharmacy - $3,000 to provide diabetic test strips for the uninsured.

Chatham County 4-H - $3,000 to support scholarships for their week-long residential camp.

Chatham Education Foundation - $3,000 for their "Books on Break" summer reading program.

Chatham Trades - $2,500 to serve adults with disabilities. 

Five N Two Pantry - $3,000 to provide food for low income residents of Harnett County. 

Partners for Children and Families - $3,000 to support summer reading stations.

Pocket Volunteer Fire Department - $1,500 for tools necessary for rescue operations.

Salvation Army of Chatham County - $3,000 to provide assistance for those experiencing a housing crisis. 

STARS Charter School - $1,500 for a new communication system to strengthen security. 

Temple Theatre - $3,000 to support scholarships for summer youth conservatories. 

United Way of Lee County - $3,000 to support the Buzz United Microtransit program.
